Exploring the World Through Housesitting

When we originally ventured out to travel the world, we had a finite about of money set aside to stretch us a full year traveling. We had to think of unique and creative ways to make our dollars count. We learned about housesitting. A beautiful partnership between homeowner and house sitter where you get the chance to give back by taking care of someone’s pets and home, while you dive deep into the local culture of the area. Today, we have completed 25 house sits around the world, made new friends, explored unique parts of the world, and have the joy of giving back.

“Honestly, I do not know how the sit with Gina and Stephen could have gone any better ❤️ They are flexible, clear communicators with an obvious love for dogs and I have no doubt that my dogs were extremely well cared for. My dogs are used to housesitters and being left alone but I always leave with some level of unease. However, after a few days with Gina and Stephen I truly did not worry. They sent photos and thoughtful comments frequently, and I could tell from the photos that my dogs were relaxed and happy. I returned home and my pups were happy to see me but not CRAZY excited so that tells me they got plenty of love and stimulation while I was away. My house was just as I left it and they even left fresh flowers. A wonderful experience all the way around ✨😊✨
