Traveling the World

In August 2021, we took off to Spain to hike the last 100km of the Camino de Santiago. From there, we explored 11 different countries from Spain to Turkey. We learned about the deep rich history of our world. Met amazing people from around the world. Here is what we learned:

  • People from around the world are kind

  • The world is safe and ready to recieve you when your ready to be the explorer

  • Connection means everything.

  • Language is never a barrier to meeting and making friends

  • Try everything at least once

We are currently traveling through Southeast Asia from April - July 2022. We hope to slow our travels and live in Thailand for a couple of months and then actively explore Vietnam, Cambodia and Singapore before returning home to Colorado for a short 2 month visit with friends and family. Rehahan, a French photographer, and I dare say, modern day explorer, spent 9 years connecting with all 54 tribes of Vietnam. Some taking 3 years to get special permission to go into the deep jungles of Vietnam, bordering on Cambodia to meet people
The top 5 things I have learned of Northern Vietnam. 1. Vietnamese are lovely, warm and welcoming hosts. They smile, love to laugh and enjoy life. 2. Egg coffee is the bomb. 3. Heat and humidity here is beyond anything I have ever experienced.
